Maintains highlest level of cleanliness throughout the property to include all guest rooms, public space and laundry facility. Assist housekeeping department in all tasks related to laundry services.
¨ Maintain a clean, organized laundry room
¨ Sort and separate used linens
¨ Identify damaged linens to be repaired or used as rags
¨ Identify stained or soiled items and use appropriate stain remover and cleaning methods
¨ Set washing and drying settings to appropriate settings for each load, according to hotel standards
¨ Separate all cleaned linens
¨ Fold linens and other cleaned articles in a uniform manner
¨ Organize all folded linens and store them in designated storage area
¨ Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage area
¨ Clean lint traps on a daily basis
¨ Clean and inspect laundry carts
¨ Ensure all equipment is in proper working order
¨ Report malfunctions of equipment to maintenance and housekeeping/supervisor
¨ Comply with hotels policy and procedures regarding attendance and attire
¨ Apply appropriate problem specific stain removers

¨ Perform all necessary duties of housekeepers, including cleaning of all guestrooms to the satisfaction of housekeeping supervisor and in accordance with the standards and policies of the department.
¨ Keep cart inventory stocked and organized at all times
¨ Communicate all personal guest items left in room immediately to housekeeping supervisor
¨ Report room service trays to Room Service staff
¨ Make and undo cots/air mattresses, place in appropriate storage, deliver to rooms when necessary
¨ Return all dishes, glassware and ice buckets to dish station
¨ Notify housekeeping supervisor immediately of any guest room maintenance related issues
¨ Adhere to all Bloodborne Pathogen procedures and Safety precautions in regards to handling hygienic items and guests’ personal products
¨ Maintain cleanliness in public areas on a daily basis, including lobby, guest bathrooms, hallways, stairs, elevator, etc.
¨ Public space cleaning checklist must be completed daily
¨ Adhere to security procedures for the handling of guest room and master keys
¨ Adhere to sign in/out procedures for department keys
¨ Clean and organize the housekeeping & laundry area at the end of each shift, respectfully setting up the next shift for success
¨ Demonstrate team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks, but ability to function alone with minimal to no supervision
